Born in the Mediterranean city of Split, Croatia, Virna started her education at the age of
          six in her hometown. She earned her Master's diploma in
          piano at the Music Academy in Zagreb and continued her education at University of Music and Performing Arts in
          Vienna studying postgraduate course of piano performance and chamber music in the class of Prof. Stephan
          Moller.
          
        
          She held numerous recitals in major halls and festivals in Croatia and abroad such as Vatroslav Lisinski
          Hall,
          Croatian Music Institute, Croatian National Theatre in Split, Gesselschaft fur Musiktheatre in Vienna, Die
          Turnhalle in Vienna, San Daniele International piano Meeting in Italy, Luis Spohr Festival in Kassel,
          Festival
          Darko Lukić, Samobor Music festival, Osor Musical Evenings, Split Summer Evenings Festival, World Sax
          Congress
          and many others. She performed as a soloist with Croatian National Theatre orchestra.
          
        
 
      
          In 2016. she received a Vinko Lesic Award for the best young musician given by Croatian music youth
          organization (Jeunesses Musicales International). She expanded her artistic knowledge working with renowed
          teachers such as Karl-Heinz Kammerling,
          Arbo Valdma, Natalia Trull, Naum Grubert,
          Simon Trpcevski, Pascal Nemirovsky, Ivan Urwalov, Irina Osipova and many others.
          
          She is an active chamber musician and an acclaimed collaborative pianist. She is also interested in
          contemporary music performing as member of a interdisciplinary Synhesthetic project group that explores
          contemporary music
          and art. She performed in Croatia, Italy, Germany, Ireland, Slovenia and Austria. Apart from performing she
          finds joy in teaching and sharing the love for music to her students. She teaches at Elly Basic Music
          Conservatory in Zagreb, Croatia.
